Pure 247: The birth of a global Christian radio station.
“You think we should do what?”
It started like all good stories – like a wet kipper to the side of the face on a cold morning, as those words were spoken to me. Three times. In less than one week. By 3 different people!
“Andy, I think you should start your own radio station.”
After months of research we decided to go for it and planned to launch on 1st September 2023. What could possibly go wrong? Well bankruptcy for one, as we would run out of money within 20 days of starting. That is, of course, unless God did something pretty amazing.
‘Buckle up and get ready for a story that’s as uplifting as it is entertaining.’
Steve Legg: Founder and CEO – Sorted magazine
‘Andy Berry, and family, are truly the real deal, because they create ministry that matters. ‘
David Duncan: David’s Daily Dose
‘It’s as if you were sitting beside him in a café drinking a frothy latte.’
Alan Kearns, Devotional Treasures
‘This is a tale of one man’s insistence that God’s vision and resourcing trump all handicaps.’
Dr. Richard Scott, GP-evangelist, Margate
Andy Berry is a man, a husband, a father and a son. From creating Digital Content, to raising three sons, Andy is a bit like an onion – he has many layers, and really doesn’t do well if left out in the sun! Some of those layers might include selling cloth nappies, driving proper size trucks, publishing books, creating videos, managing a podcast channel and launching a Global Media Organisation and Radio Station – Pure247Radio.org.
